Enjoy an elegant sweet and savoury high tea lunch at Purple Haven Lavender Farm, followed by a two-hour, step-by-step stained glass workshop with Jay of Creative Barracks.

You'll choose your own colours and create a beautiful stained glass lightcatcher to take home with you.

No artistic experience necessary. 

We teach you everything you need to know.

 Come spend an afternoon at Purple Haven Lavender Farm enjoying good food, good company and a little creative time.

We'll begin with a sweet and savoury high tea lunch, then move into a hands-on stained glass workshop led by Lacie from Creative Barracks.

You'll choose the colours you love and work through the project step-by-step. By the end of the afternoon, you'll have made your own stained glass lightcatcher to take home.

You don't need to know anything about stained glass before you arrive.

You just need to show up ready to try something new.

Enjoy a selection of sweet and savoury treats in the beautiful setting of Purple Haven Lavender Farm.

Lacie will guide you through the process from start to finish. No previous experience is required.

Choose your own colours and create a piece that's completely yours.

Spend the afternoon surrounded by the beautiful rural setting of one of Haldimand's favourite destinations.

Your finished lightcatcher is yours to enjoy long after the afternoon is over.

This is not an art class where anyone is grading your work.

You don't need to know how to cut glass. You don't need to understand soldering. You don't need a creative background.

You'll be guided through the process step-by-step and we'll help you along the way.

The goal isn't to make everyone's project look the same.

The goal is for you to leave with something you're proud to say you made yourself.

 It's easy to get together with friends and end up doing the same things you've always done.

Shopping.

Another restaurant.

There's nothing wrong with any of that.

But sometimes it's nice to actually do something together.

You'll have something to talk about, something to make, something to laugh about and, at the end of the afternoon, something tangible to take home.

Dunnville and the surrounding area are full of little places worth stopping at before or after your experience.

Visit Muddy the Mudcat, take a walk along the Grand River, explore a local farm or market, grab lunch or coffee, visit the waterfront or stay for sunset.
