Creative Barracks and it's staff would like to acknowledge that we gather to work, play and create on the Haldimand Tract, the traditional territories of the Attawandaron, Haudenosaunee and Anishinaabe People who, for thousands of years, have walked and lived on this land.
We are inspired and grateful for their continued stewardship of the land, and wish to show respect for reconciliation through peace, friendship supporting our local Indigenous artists and offering educational opportunities through creativity to our community and it's visitors.
We also recognize the United Nations Declaration on the Right of Indigenous Peoples and encourage our visitors, families and artists to educate yourselves on local Indigenous issues.
If you are local the the Haldimand Tract, we recommend starting your education by visiting the Woodland Cultural Centre, in Brantford, Ontario.
Lacie is a true champion for the community. She cares deeply about creating safe, inclusive and fun spaces for people of all ages and stages to be creative and express themselves!
She welcomes others into her space to share their gifts with the community openly and truly embodies the saying- community over competition.
She is a wonderful advocate for the local community in creating positive change.
I don't have enough positive things about Lacie and the space she has created at LVW Creative Barracks.
If you're looking for a safe, welcoming and inclusive space to explore your creative expression ... look no further. This is it!
"Lacie makes each class fun. Doesn't matter if you are a newbie or a pro at painting. She goes at a nice steady relaxing pace and doesn't make you feel like you're being rushed with each step. I thoroughly enjoy going and look forward to each class. Thank you."
With her business in downtown Dunnville, Lacie is passionately helping to support the town's growing artistic Renaissance.
A talented artist and organizer herself, she facilitates the emergence or reemergence of the creative urge and passion in adults and children alike - not to mention offering children something constructive and non-electronic to do with their play time!

Any amount helps remove financial barriers for families who cannot afford to send their kids to arts programs.
Our art programs are an opportunity to learn new skills, socialize and play with peers in a friendly environment, in a variety of themes.
Your donations will be used to subsidize program fees for students to attend any classes or camps they are interested in.
You may make a specific donation. Make sure to specific in the notes of your donation and we'd be happy to find an appreciative family.
For example: You can specify your donation goes to a student interested in attending Camp Rainbow, our LGBTQ+2S inclusive summer program, or any other program we offer this summer.
We love creative people, so feel free to visit during normal business hours or call to book a visit that suits your schedule.
