Is Solo Pottery Wheel Right for Me?

Pick your preferred day of the week and time and lock in for weekly visits.

Solo Wheel Studio is a good fit if you:

  • Want regular, dedicated wheel time in a calm studio environment
  • Prefer working independently, with light support available
  • Are motivated by consistent practice rather than one-off experiences
  • Feel comfortable experimenting, making mistakes, and learning through repetition
  • Want an all-inclusive option where clay, glazes, and firings are handled for you
  • You don't want clean up to interfere with wheel time (Solo Potter's get 30m of clean up time after their session included in every visit)

Solo Wheel Studio may not be the best fit if you:

  • Are looking for step-by-step instruction every week
  • Prefer a highly social or drop-in style class
  • Want to try pottery just once or occasionally
  • Need ongoing, hands-on teaching throughout each session

Not sure where you land?
Many potters choose to add the Structured Intro Lesson on their first visit to build confidence and get oriented, then continue independently for the remainder of their term.

If you’re brand new to pottery or prefer guided instruction, our Friday night hand-building workshops or private group sessions may be a better starting point.
