Day Camp FAQ´S

Not all our programming is arts and crafts based, but we use fun themes to inspire the creativity like science, history, technology & pop culture. 

Our Summer Camps for ages 4-7 are a blend or art, games and activities to help build fine motor skills, social skills and creative thinking. 

However, if you have a highly active kid who isn’t into creativity - consider supporting other cool local camps offered by Rebounders Gymnastics or Iron Spirit Horse Farm

We do our best to offer a variety of programming for a variety of ages as young as 4.

We've learned that full day camps tend to be a little too much for our younger artists. So we break our day camps into half day portions with a morning session and afternoon session for ages 4-7. If you need full day accommodations - no problem, just enrol for the morning and afternoon sessions. 

Our full day programs are offered for ages 8 - 14+ 

We do our best to offer flexible pricing for our families.
We offer discounts for enrolling more than one student in programs, or for enrolling in multiple programs.
Enroll your students, and we'll apply discounts to your account before taking payment. 

Please talk to Lacie if you need to make special payment arrangements, we are happy to be flexible. 

We offer three types of camps: full day, mornings or afternoons.

Full Day Camps run 9am-3pm 

Morning Camps run 9am-12pm

Afternoon Camps run 1pm-3pm

Additional fees apply for early drop-off or late pick-up - just let us know as soon as possible to calculate additional fees and schedule staff as needed. We offer aftercare until 6pm for $10/kid but it must be booked in advance of drop off. 

It is recommended kids dress for mess, or bring a change of clothes if needed.
We ask that kids bring enough snacks and drinks for the day or half day, whatever is the norm for them.
We do not serve food to our day campers, unless it is part of our programming, like cookie decorating.

We do our best to offer a wide variety of programming for both children and teens.

We offer programming for littles as young as 4. 

Programming for littles is meant as a short and sweet intro to studio life before starting other classes. 

Our class age ranges are really only suggestions.

Most of our kids' art programs range from $15/class-$25/class per child before any discounts are applied. These rates are based on required tools, materials and paying a living wage for our educators. 

However, thanks to our generous community partners, some of our programs are free!

It’s best to check our programming page to see what’s being offered and when. 

We also offer discounts on all our tuition for full season enrollment, multi-class or multi-child enrollment and offer flexible payment plans for all families. Just ask!

Yes!

Almost all our programs have the option to attend when available or interested.

However, those that enroll in full seasons or multiple consecutive classes are eligible for tuition discounts.

No big deal!

Our studio is designed to eliminate stress. If a student arrives early, they're welcome to have a seat in our lounge, or look around until class time.

At pick up, if you haven't come in yet, we'll have a peek out the door just to make sure, before we kick back on the couch patiently.

Your kids are safe here until you arrive.

If you are enrolled for a full season - there are no make-ups or refunds for missed classes. 

However, if enrolled in single classes, there is no penalty for a last minute class cancellation if we receive notice prior to class time. We understand that life throws all sorts of curveballs and we’re happy to be flexible, but please let us know by calling, texting or emailing us, as soon as you realize you won’t be attending class. This will allow staff to adjust your account, removing any tuition fees and start class on time for those able to attend. 

However, if we do not receive notice before the beginning of class, your account will be charged*. If no credit card is added to your account, you will be charged the next time you attend a class. This is agreed upon in our policies contract that you agreed to when creating an account. 

*Emergency situations excepted. 

We're all big kids aren't we?

Our art parties are designed with flexible options to accommodate all ages, abilities and interests. The hardest thing you have to do is decide what project you'd like to create at your next art party! 

Although we're well known for our painting parties, we also offer a variety of other party options, including: Pottery, Sculpting & Water colour, Splatter Painting and Pottery Wheel Parties. We also offer Stained Glass Make & Take Parties for ages 14+. 

Our Party booking system is set up for in-studio parties, and we prefer to host in our space where a mess is celebrated. 

However, if an in-home or on location event is preferred, we’re happy to accommodate. Submit your booking through our online system and add a note requesting an on location event, providing the address. We will confirm by email. 

On location party services include 1 hour of art making & instruction for kids or 2 hours of art making and instruction for teens/adults. It is up to the party host to ensure table and chair space for all participants. 

There are no additional fees for in-home parties within Haldimand County. A small travel fee of $35 applies for parties in Niagara, Hamilton, Burlington, Brantford and the GTA. 

We try to make booking a party easy. Go to our website, and review the Parties Page. There you will find visual examples and prices for groups as small as 4 people. 

All party bookings require a booking fee, and depending on the size of your party, additional fees may be due on the day of the party.

If you do not see a date/time you want listed, please reach out to us by email, we may be able to accommodate your specific request.  

All our art party activities are 1 hour for kids plus an additional hour for party fun, and 2hrs for adults.

If you choose to have a party in our studio, you can arrive 30m early to set up and we create art as soon as all your guests arrive. 

You can book additional time in the studio if you want to host a longer party.

Our base price for most of our party options is $149-$199 for 4-6 people. The price increases based on number of participants, add-ons, additional time in studio and travel fees 

If you book a party for 8-10 kids, but the day of, only 6 show up - you only pay for the kids who showed up. We never charge you for no shows.
Additional fees may apply for travel, or extra time in studio. 

You only pay for the party guests who participate in the art making activity.

If you'd like to invite others, please feel welcome. We ask additional guests to remain in the lounge while the art making portion of the party takes place, to help reduce distractions. 

Yes!, When you book an art party in our studio, you have the option to book additional time, after art making, for whatever you like, at an additional cost of $25/hr.

We have a lounge and table space for food, drinks, gifts and other party fare.
