Amazing kids art classes at a very approachable price point! My daughter is always so excited to go!

Lacie is a great artist and teacher. Kids love her and she supports artists of all levels ages and abilities. If you want to try painting for the first time or just want company while you work on your own stuff this is a great place to be.

Creative Barracks and it's staff would like to acknowledge that we gather to work, play and create on the Haldimand Tract, the traditional territories of the Attawandaron, Haudenosaunee and Anishinaabe People who, for thousands of years, have walked, lived and created on this land.
We are inspired and grateful for their continued stewardship of the land, and wish to show respect for reconciliation through peace, friendship supporting our local Indigenous artists and offering educational opportunities through creativity to our community and it's visitors sharing the message: Water is Life, it is our inherited responsibility to protect it.
We recognize historically, that fine arts and creative practices have been used by colonial and Western societies to oppress, persecute and propagate negative stereotypes about Indigenous communities and we work to counteract this.
We recognize the United Nations Declaration on the Right of Indigenous Peoples and encourage our visitors, families and artists to educate yourselves on local Indigenous issues.
